Love and Strawberries
Back in 2005, I shot this picture for a story about the Seduction Cookbook by Diane Brown..and it was purely romantic impulse that brought me to light it and shoot it this way. The recipe was sensual and vibrant and desired some ambiance. Make this simple and sexy recipe for someone you love this weekend…Happy Valentines Day!
Stuffed Strawberries
From ‘The Seduction Cookbook’
Ingredients
12 large ripe strawberries, rinsed and dried
4 ounces mascarpone cheese
1/2 teaspoon superfine sugar
2 drops vanilla extract
2 tablespoons grated dark (semisweet or bittersweet) chocolate
Preparation
1.With a paring knife remove hull and inner core of each berry to form a cavity. Remove meat of the berry from the hull. Save stem and hull.
2.In a small bowl mix together cheese, sugar, vanilla and chocolate. Using a small spoon, stuff mixture into cavity of each berry. Top berries with hulls. Serve cold.
12 strawberries (2 to 4 servings, depending on berry size)
