I made the the pistachio linzer cookies and am very disappointed. Despite the enormous amount of butter, the cookies are too crumbly. Was there a mistake in the recipe – I thought they would be nice and crisp, but not crumbly. Very expensive to make as well. I’ll see if I get them to Queens from upstate ny in one piece. R. Hack
Sorry that you had that experience. Mine did not come out that way and I followed the recipe as Melissa wrote it. But…oven temps often vary, sometimes greatly from one oven to the next. This may be why your cookies came out crumbly.
