Hi!
It is funny to see Nutella tour the world!
I grew up with it, Nutella was everything I needed for breakfast when I was a kid in the 60s.
And now I need to warn you all – DON’T ever try to overeat! *smile*
That’s what happened to me 20 years ago, when I lived up in Northern Germany – the strong and cold winter storms made me wake up at night with an urgent NEED of chocolate.
So once I woke up at 3:00 in the morning, knowing there was no chocolate left, so I went to the kitchen and tried to find something comparable.
There was nothing.
Except that huge Nutella jar in the fridge…
Do I need to tell you what happened then?
I said to myself “ok, brown and sweet – that’s the main important thing!” – and sat down with a spoon and the jar.
…
At 4:00 this jar was empty. (Well, it was a little over 1/2 in there before I got started.)
At 7:30 I called the secretary and told her I was sick and needed to stay in bed…
That was the last time I really enjoyed the pure thing.
So be careful!
*laugh*
But!
I do have a recipe for a tarte that goes with Nutella and rusk and curd cheese and is SO delicious – so in homoepathic doses Nutella still has its fascination…
Does anyone want to have it?
Greetings from snowy Germany!
